If you are ordering from the USA, Canada or other countries that do not use UK 3 pin plugs or EU 2 pin plugs you will need to either source your own 12 volt 250mA 3.0VA AC/DC adaptor (available from most electrical outlets) or power the cat flap on a 9V battery only. If using battery power only we recommend using a heavy duty type battery that you might use in something like a smoke detector. More info..

Please note that the wall version must run using an AC adaptor and will not run on battery only therefore if your power supply is not compatible with either a UK or EU adaptor you will need to source your own AC adaptor locally that meets the above power specifications.
