hi we live in spain and have one cat who is due to be chipped here, would your cat flap work with her spanish chip? as i dont know if they are any different from ones in the UK? if it does, how much would it cost in total to post it here to spain, if thats possible ,also it will have to be fitted into our wall so can you provide a tunnel? thanks deborah

I have a 2 year old pet porte smart flap. I contacted your company when it was new regarding programing a close out setting. This was not availebel then. Are there any development on this? I want to close the cat out, when it is hunting and bringing in birds and mouses.
It’s very easy to do that. Just switch the cat flap off at the plug!
Fabulous piece of kit, to coin a phrase ” does what it says on the tin “, is it possible to get replacements windows, mine is looking a bit shabby even though I do clean it ???
Installed petporte microchip catflap a day ago & have today got a chipped cat to register on it. My problem is I want to keep in my other cat till he is familiar enough with his new home. I cannot find the mode that lets the first cat come & go whilst stopping the other exiting (& No phone help at the weekend!)

Had I known that, I would not have wasted my time & treasure acquiring & installing this otherwise excellent device. I have to keep it on vet mode & let my other cats out as & when they wish while keeping the new one away from the door or window whilst I do it. A pretty poor do.
Why didn’t you check if it had this option BEFORE you bought it? It doesn’t suggest it can do this anywhere in this sales letter.
Can’t you reset the cat flap so it only recognises one cat? Then presumably the other couldn’t get out?
Sorry it will not prevent any cat from going outside. It is designed to stop other cats from getting inside only. Any cat that gets in (through a window for example) will be able to get out through the cat flap.
I’ve currently got a Staywell Magnetic cat Flap but 2 young cats next door have learnt how to open it from the outside by lifting the flap up with their claws. What is the guarantee that this would not happen with the Pet Porte door?
Cat’s can’t claw this door open. It’s specially designed to prevent that from happening. We have had no reports of a cat doing that. You can use the 30 day guarantee for the purpose of testing it out.
