I write this email to say that my (or rather our cat Whisky’s) Pet Porte arrived during the week….waited a little while for it to arrive, however that said, I managed to register Whisky’s chip and install the Pet Porte in the door all within about 30 minutes !

What can I say, Whisky took to his new Pet Porte almost straight away, and now he is in and out all the time, but more importantly the recent episodes of the newly arrived bully cat coming into our house appeared to have stopped. This damn bully cat even sprayed over my work bag during one night !!

I know that he has tried to get in recently during one night because he has defiantly sprayed over the back door instead…probably because he is now pissed off at being locked out !!

We are so glad we found the Pet Porte (initially via a Google search)…so a big big thank you.
We would certainty recommend the Pet Porte to others

Thank you very much for your kind concern and helpfull instructions.

After recieving the Smart Catflap I spent several weeks looking at it with mounting anxiety. In fact my fears centered more around our very unmanagable door, than this new contraption. However after two months and a fair amount of feline intruders into our – and our cats’ – home, I rather desperately tackeled this new catflap. The door proved to be as difficult as expected, but you will be very happy to learn that the catflap itself was as easy to put together and install as you predicted. And as smart as you promised!

It took our cats some encouragement to master the procedure of getting out, however they had no problem with entering “after the bleep”. At first the foreighners/enemies at the door were perplexed but now they seem to have taken the message. Ever since I have earned real admiration from my husband and eternal gratitude from our cats.

We bought one a few weeks ago. After a slow start, the moggies ( 2 ) were unsure of the overhanging ledge where the scanner is, but I am happy to say now they love it and are using it 100% effectively. However the big ginger Tom who used to come in through the old flap and leave us his perfumed presence, is now consigned to remaining outdoors.

We have been using our cat flap for the past 6 months with great sucess I would recommend it to any one, my house is not invaded by any other cats even though they keep trying, and my cats are happier.

I must congratulate you on an excellent service. Received my cat flap in less than 24 hrs from you sending me the email to tell me it had been despatched. My son fitted it last night and it was easy to do, it slotted straight into the old cat flap hole, the instructions were easy to follow. My cat went straight out of it but would not come back through it. I altered the lockout time so he had more time to think about it, but still no joy. After trying everything to coax him in (he was already used to a magnetic one) with no joy, I wandered if it was the beep he was unsure of. I took off the beep and ‘hey presto’ in he came looking very pleased with himself. As for the other cat which was getting through the old flap and eating all his food, I watched it last night trying for a good 10 minutes to get in with no joy and eventually gave up and went away. So thank you for a wonderful invention and I can now do my night shifts with peace of mind knowing my cat is safe. Thanks.

the catflap is working very well. thank you very much for supplying such a useful product. The local cats can no longer sneak in and spray my rooms and eat my cat’s food!

I lost the manual for my Pet Porte but was able to download it easily from your website. Hurrah! The Pet Porte is so easy to use and my cats and kittens have no problems with it. Thank you for making life so simple for me and my cats.

Just wanted to give you some feedback on my new catflap.

Anyone who is waivering at spending that amount on your product should read my note, I visited your website maybe 5 times, and kept putting the microchip number in to make sure it was really compatible.

This is the best £130 I have spent, I had been having problems with 2 bully cats in the area, chasing mine, coming into the house and eating all my cats food and then spraying, not only that they were walking all over my worktops which I don’t like at all. If you want a testemonial to out on your website I would be more than willing to give you one.

Simply put you have created one AWESOME product. As with everyone else who has bought your product, I was trying to stop the insanity. From about 2 weeks after I opened the cat flap for ‘Missy’ to go outside, the horror started. I first noticed a urine stain on the wall of my utility room. That seemed odd, because Missy is a fixed female cat … that was only the beginning. The offending cat/cats managed to mark just about every corner and door in my home. The whole house smelt of urine, it was horrible … and then the cat ‘marked’ my brand new Bose home entertainment system. Furious, I started the process of finding Missy another home, because rather than unfairly lock her inside I wanted to find her a good home. Problem was Missy is a really, really cool cat. I mean she is darn loyal, fun, energetic and calm, happy, and just all around nice to be around.

Then I find your product and my eyes popped. I couldn’t believe there was such a great innovation on the market. I ordered it that day, and the next it was at my doorstep. I ripped off my old cat flap and slid the PetPorte in the existing slot (I have V.2). Installation was done in about 45 min and had her programed in about 5 mins later. It works like a dream. I completely sanitized my home the next day and 2 week later have found NO urine markings. Also, and not to my surprise Missy’s food is lasting about twice as long. I’m not sure about the bullying, but I have a smaller female cat, so I’m sure she is A LOT more secure being able to get away from menacing unfixed male cats.
There are a few recommendations for others, I used clear caulking around the outside edges to ensure no water would come in through the door. Also, if you do not have a plug nearby, get the extension cord for the AC power when you order.
