If anything goes wrong with your Pet Porte microchip cat flap you can be confident that the manufacturer Pet Safe will put it right.
From the day you receive it up until a full three years after purchase your cat flap is fully protected under the manufacturer’s warranty against any faults.
What this cat flap will not do:
This cat flap is designed to allow access for your cats only. It will not prevent your cat from bringing in other animals such as mice or birds. Also it will not prevent other cats from tail-gating your cat inside. It cannot prevent other cats getting into your house through open windows or doors.
Your responsibilities as a customer:
The warranty does not cover accidental damage so please make sure the cat flap is covered under your household insurance policy for accidental damage and theft. It is however very unlikely that the cat flap could be dismantled from the outside.
Use of any other power supply or installing the cat flap in any other way than recommended in the instruction manual could invalidate the warranty. Modifying any part of the cat flap will invalidate the warranty. The use of other cleaning products other than those recommended in the manual is not recommended.
Spare parts, eg. replacement flaps, replacement AC adaptor, replacement external plastic, etc are available from the manufacturer who will continue to support customers with spare parts for at least five years after purchase.
